Dr. Soha Sepehri

My name is Dr. Soha Sepehri. I am a Vancouver-based architect, interior designer, and design educator whose work bridges the precision of architectural research with the art of human-centered living. As Founder and Creative Director of Serac Studios, a premier architecture and interior design practice with projects spanning Canada, the Middle East, China, and the United States, I lead a studio known for its bespoke approach to luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial design.

Rooted in a deep family legacy of architecture, I grew up with design as my first language. My father was a renowned architect, professor, and mentor to thousands of architecture students, instilling in me a belief that great design is never purely aesthetic, it is transformative. That philosophy is the foundation of everything I create.

I have completed high educational achievements, including a PhD from Tehran Azadi University, (M.Arch) and (B.Arch) from Iran University of Science and Technology, complemented by advanced studies in Architectural Imagination through HarvardX. Furthermore, I have completed course certifications on AI-Engineering from Vanderbilt University, among other online accelerators.

I am a member of the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), the HAVAN Designers Council (Home Builders Association Vancouver), and the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA).

Beyond my studio practice, I am also the Founder of Serac Academy, where I channel my passion for design education into shaping the next generation of creative professionals. I am also the founder of ICID BY SOHA, a global design initiative connecting architects, interior designers, and artists worldwide.
